Time Trial + Triathlon Road Bikes Time trial and triathlon bikes are designed to be aerodynamic and fast ! Not as much consideration for comfort here ! These bikes use state of the art frame design and shape to cut through the air as efficiently as possible. Tri-bars hold you in a position that makes your body as aerodynamic as possible. Mostly with gear levers in the end of the Tri-bars and brake levers in the base bar. Some have disc wheels on the rear to help the turbulent air leave the back of the bike quicker
