The better the breathability is without compromising rain proofing, the faster moisture will be released away from your body, reducing overheating and allowing your layering system to regulate body temperature. Look out for high-tech fabrics such as Gore-Tex and PTFE for the most breathable and waterproof results, and rely on quality brands such as Gore Bike Altura, Endura and Assos.
